Valentine Treats

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for January 2017. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our 2017 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month our projects showcase themes that are “from the heart.” This includes any of the following themes… Valentine’s Day, Thinking of You, Get Well and/or Sympathy. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

Every year I make Reese’s Valentine Heart Boxes for my kids and this year is no exception.

Here’s last year’s boxes.  I use the Gift Box Punch Board and the Box Size is 1.75 x 1.75 x 3.25.  This box will hold two Reese’s Valentine Hearts.

Stampin Up Valentine Box made with the Love Notes Framelits Dies and the Confetti Hearts Border Punch designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

This super simple box was made using a half sheet of Cardstock.  I love the 3-D effect of the heart on the front.  Hopefully Superman will like it too.  It’s filled with his favorite Ghirardelli dark chocolate.

One of my fellow Kansas City display stampers gave me a treat similar to this in November and I switched things up to make a Valentine treat containing a mini Twix bar.  I don’t know her name, but if I find out I’ll let you know.  This would be a darling treat to hand out to my BSF gals on Valentine’s Day.  I would probably put “Happy Valentine’s Day” on theirs even though I really do love them.

Embossed Tag

I’ve been doing lots of stamping, but for some reason I haven’t gotten around to posting what I’ve been making.  Sean has gone back to Seattle, but Ryan is still here.  The amount of food shopping, food prep, and dishes seems way more than it should with just one extra young man here.  Maybe it’s the number of games of Euchre and Hearts that has been taking up more of my time.  I wouldn’t trade the time we’ve spent playing cards for anything, except I am curious how I rarely lose a card game, but during this break I haven’t won a single game.  Ryan on the other hand has been cleaning up! Tonight the kids decided whoever won, should get our Hamilton tickets when the Broadway Musical comes to Des Moines next year.  I may have already told you, but Abby knows every word to every Hamilton song and Keegan also loves the Hamilton musical and sang a Hamilton solo at his Broadway Musical camp last summer.  The problem is we only have two tickets and typically Steve and I use the two tickets.  Stay tuned to find out who ends up getting the tickets.

Stampin Up wine tag made with the Tin of Tags stamp set, designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

This tag is way prettier in real life.  I used the aqua painter and Shimmery White card stock.  The snowflakes are embossed in silver and the “Making spirits bright” is embossed in gold.  I added Rhinestones to the snowflakes.  I also used the Silver Glitter Ribbon and a thin gold cord.

I’m so excited about Sale-A-Bration which began Jan 4.  With every $50 purchase you get to choose and additional free item.  Best deal ever!   The new Occasions catalog also began Jan 4.  It’s full of great stamping fun. Click on the “catalog” tab at the top of my blog to see the new catalogs.

If you don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demo, I would love to be your demo and send you the catalogs free of charge.  Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com

Stampin Up Hershey Nugget snowmen treats designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

My Hersey Nugget snowmen treats were a hit with Abby’s friends and were pinned over 6,000 times on Pinterest!

I hope Stampin’ Up! never retires the Envelope Punch Board.  I’ve made dozens of Snickers boxes with it.  More people come to my blog to get directions to make a Snickers Box than anything else.

I can’t wait to get started on new projects for 2017!

The new 2017 Occasions catalog is awesome!  If you want a little bit of everything without spending a lot of money, order a “share” from me.  The “I want it all” share is $46 including shipping.  Please see all the details here

Beth 🙂
