Watermelon Wonder is my favorite color of the 2015-17 In Colors!

I gave these sweet little dot boxes filled with chocolate covered almonds to my table mates at OnStage this weekend.  Who do you know that would smile after receiving an unexpected little treat?

Happy 80th Birthday!

We celebrated Superman’s Dad’s Birthday today in Davenport.  Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa Harold!  Grandpa Harold has two goals he’s talked about often.  He wanted the Cubs to win the World Series-check, and he wanted to live to age 80-check! No one else in Harold’s family has ever made it to 80.

I knew his card needed an “80” on it since he was so proud of that.  I had planned to make it a shaker card with glitter floating around inside the 8 and 0.  Unfortunately I forgot to add the window sheet layer.  Next time I’ll remember.  He was pretty happy with card anyway.

Here’s the inside with a pop up Menard’s gift card.  Pop ups are easy to do with any size card.  The key is to make three score lines all one inch apart.  I’ve been trying to get brave enough to do a Facebook Live and show you the Pop Up gift cards and also do one to show you the Envelope Punch Board Boxes.  A couple of you have told me you want the directions.  If I show you how to make them in a live Facebook video, do you promise not to judge me?  Yep, I’m scared to do it.  Maybe with some encouragement I’ll give it a try.

Here’s the Envelope Punch Board box I was telling you about.

Keegan’s jazz choir finished the season this week at the Jazz Champs and ended up being fifth best in the state.  I was very happy with that considering the top four were all varsity jazz choirs, so really Keegan’s was the best junior varsity jazz choir in the state.  With everything, it’s all in how you look at it.  🙂  Anyway, great job Keegan and Vocal Point!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Fresh Fruit Mini Ghirardelli Treats

At Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) on Tuesday I brought a decorated Mini Ghirardelli chocolate square for everyone in my discussion group.  I think it’s fun to surprise people with an unexpected little something to brighten their day. These were made with the flower from the Fresh Fruit stamp set.  I popped up the 3/8″ circle on a dimensional.  I used the 2″ circle punch for the white circles.  Quick and easy!

I bought the Mini Ghirardelli squares during our February Chicago trip to see the Broadway musical, Hamilton.

I was happy I made enough to have an extra for our wonderful teaching leader who visited our group on Tuesday.

Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration!  Have you gotten all the free gifts you had your eye on?  There’s still time to order from me and get your Sale-A-Bration free gifts along with my free card kits.  The card kits have six different cards made with the gorgeous Watercolor Wonder retired DSP.  Here’s a sample of just one of the cards below.   Please order from my online store  and use the Host Code CRJSYAZX.  You can also email me at Beth@StampingMom.com 🙂

Here’s some comments from customers who’ve received the card kits:

Pat wrote,”I picked up an order from Beth last week and made this set of 6 cards. Such a nice, simple set, but ones I would like to give or receive. Very easy to make too. I have already sent two of them to relatives! Thanks Beth.”

Jean wrote, “The card kit to make six cards is great! I received a set with my recent order. The cards are so pretty. They were very easy to put together. I cannot wait to send them to my friends and family.”

I’ll continue sending out card kits for April orders.

I got some happy mail this week.  In April I’ll be heading to Minneapolis for OnStage and have the honor of attending Centre Stage again because of my promotion last September.  I’m thrilled to get this special treat again and thoroughly enjoyed the experience last November.  Thanks to all my customers, people who purchased “Shares” from me, and members of my Stamping Mom’s team who made the promotion possible.  Thank you so much!

I am trying to maintain the promotion again this September and can’t do it without the sales from my “Shares.”  I’ll be offering these again for the new catalog that begins June 1.  Please consider purchasing shares from me this year.  I’ll be offering them at a very low price and hope to have the details for you by the middle of April.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
