Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Last Minute Gifts/Cards to inspire you with your holiday list. We really hope that you will be enjoy all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
With only 11 days until Christmas, I wanted to show you a couple of my favorite quick and easy projects from this season.
Every year I make my friend, Lindsay, about 35 gift tags that she gives out with her Christmas treats. I like to come up with a design that isn’t too time consuming. The Celebration Tags dies made this year’s tags quick and easy. It’s also nice that there’s a spot to write a note inside each tag.
Lindsay’s son, Oliver, always poses in front of their Christmas tree with my tags and Lindsay’s bags of homemade treats. Oliver is in kindergarten this year, so we’ll have to see how many more years he’ll be a willing participant in this tradition. He’s such a sweet young man. 🙂
I hope you were able to get the Celebration Tag Dies before supplies ran out. The “Merry Christmas” sentiment came from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in the Annual catalog.
Every year at Thanksgiving time, Steve opens up his fudge factory. We end up giving dozens of fudge boxes to friends and neighbors. I make several different versions of the fudge box depending on the supplies I have available.
These boxes were made for my Bible Study Fellowship friends. I cut 1 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ Snowflake Vellum and adhered it to the box with Mini Glue dots because I didn’t want the adhesive to show through the vellum. The beautiful “Merry Christmas” and tag die are from the Brightest Glow Bundle. These products are carrying over into another catalog, but not at the 10% off bundled price. Get them now for the best deal. This was a simple, yet elegant way to decorate the boxes.
In the past I’ve used Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes and Pizza boxes for my fudge boxes. Both of these products have retired, so I used the Envelope Treat Boxes from the Fall Mini Catalog. Get yours here while they are still available. The size of the box is a little smaller, so I’ve wondered if our fudge recipients will think it’s part of shrinkflation? Steve says we are just helping everyone with portion control. 🙂
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 11th when our theme will be Sale-A-Bration Time. The design team will showcase projects made from Sale-A-Bration items.
