I used the Color Challenge- Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Pink Pirouette from the Global Design Project #GDP001 to design this card. I have new neighbors who just moved in on my street. They live in a So Saffron house with a Smoky Slate roof. My sweet daughter just made them her Iowa State Fair prize winning cookies and put them on a Pink Pirouette Plate. When I saw the Global Design Project color challenge I knew it was perfect for what I needed.
I used Holiday Home from the Stampin’ Up! 2014 Holiday catalog. This is a retired set.
Please let me know if you would like Abby’s prize winning recipe for Flourless Brownie Cookies.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

A wonderful card Beth! The little house is SO cute and I’m so glad the colours tied in perfectly with the real thing. I think your neighbours know they’ve hit the jackpot with an award winning baker and papercraft artist as neighbours! Thanks so much for playing along with us at GDP.
What a sweet card. I’ll be happy to try some of those brownies Beth. 🙂 That little pink love heart is so adorable. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project color challenge!
Forget the card…you had me a award winning cookies…ON A PINK PLATE!! (I have a bit of a pink obsession!) How lucky are those neighbours?!
Your card is lovely Beth and you incorporated the colours beautifully with your card. Thank you so much for playing along to our very first Global Design Project. xo
Thanks Shawn! I hope things go great for the Global Design Project!
Great card! How sweet to welcome the new neighbors. State fair prize winning recipe … who wouldn’t want the recipe?! They look yummy. Yes please share recipe
Beth! This is too cute. I love the heart poofing out of the chimney such a great idea. My favorite though, is how you made the yellow house stand out with paper-piecing. A great design all around. Thanks for joining our first challenge at Global Design Project.
