Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “My Happiest Season.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My happiest season is Christmas, so on this hot summer day in Iowa I brought out the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the beautiful new Dove of Hope Bundle. The Feels Like Frost DSP sold out early last year and I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t sell out again this year.
I recently learned how to make this fun fold card with the pop out surprise inside. It works especially well if you have a “scene type” DSP. This silver embossed dove looks awesome popping out as you open the card.
Here’s another card that shows how it looks with “scene” DSP and also what the card looks like closed. This may be one of my Christmas cards this year because I enjoyed making these cards so much and I like the “wow” factor of the pop up inside.
Here’s a video showing how to make this card.
Here’s a template showing how to make this card.
Here’s another card made with this fun fold. All the sentiments on these cards are from the Dove of Hope stamp set. ” Peace on Earth” and “Peace~ Joy~ Love” are what we need in the world right now.
BUNDLE & SAVE 10%! Purchase the Dove of Hope Stamp Set and the coordinating Detailed Dove Dies together as a bundle and SAVE 10%!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 9th when our theme is “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” The Design Team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

Beautiful Beth! One of my favorite papers.
What a fabulous fold, Beth! So pretty in this paper!
I love this fun fold, and the pretty little surprise dove! Beautiful!
Beautiful! I really like how the dove stands out in the middle.
Love this Beth! I am a huge fan of fun fold cards and this showcases the frost paper so well! Love the sentiment! Have used that saying for Christmas cards in the past but boy does it still ring true!!!! We need some peace on earth for sure!!!! THanks for sharing your great directions too!!! Always a delight to see your projects!
Beautiful card Beth!
Love the way the little dove just floats! Beautiful card Beth!
Beautiful! Love the folds.
Love these cards, Beth!
I love this fun fold, too, Beth! But the surprising pop-up in the inside makes it really special!
Beth I like the way you provided the dimensions on the card using the actual panels themselves and measurements. You’re right this is a beautiful card and with our temperatures in Texas reaching 100 degrees, it’s a welcome reminder of cooler days ahead.
What a fun fold card. All of the cards are beautiful.
A gorgeous card! I love the unique fold as well.
