I love making fun fold cards! I hope you’ll love seeing all the fun folds we have for you today on the Pals Fun Fold Blog Hop.
Here’s directions to make this Double Z fold card.
- 4-1/4″ x 11″ Fresh Freesia Cardstock (CS) scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- (2) 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ SAB Sunshine & Rainbows DSP Pool Party heart design – score one of them at 2-5/8″
- (2) 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ SAB Sunshine & Rainbows DSP Granny Apple Green design- score one of them at 2-5/8″
- (2) 1-1/2″ x 2-5/8″ SAB Sunshine & Rainbows DSP Granny Apple Green design- inside middle pieces
- 1-1/4″ x 11″ SAB Friendly Hello DSP scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/4″
- Adhere the two Pool Party DSP to the Fresh Freesia CS as shown in the picture above. The 2-3/4″ score is on the left side
- Adhere (2) Granny Apple Green DSP behind the Friendly Hello DSP strip as shown in the picture above. The 2-5/8″ score is on the right side
- When attaching to the card base, be careful to only adhere the long strip at the far left and far right so the card will still open.
- Adhere the two inside middle pieces of Granny Apple Green DSP.
- Punch out two clouds using Pale Papaya Cardstock (CS) and the Cloud Punch. Stamp “Driving By” on one of them in Black Momento ink. Run the other through the Splatters Embossing Folder. Cut the cloud in two. Pop up all the clouds on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the vehicles on Basic White and again on DSP. Paper piece them together and finish coloring with Stampin’ Blends. Pop the vehicles up on Stampin ‘Dimensionals.
Here’s another Double Z fold card I made recently. The directions are basically the same for both cards. Tuesday, Jan 25 at 7pm Central, I’m doing a Live video showing how to make this card. My husband, Steve, and I do Live videos every Tuesday and always have prize patrol. We would love to have you join us! You can subscribe to my YouTube channel here. So cute! Love it!
Ooh, I love the striped paper as the road! So clever!
Great cards! Thanks for sharing the how to’s.
I love the way you colored the bumpers and wheels on the paper pieced cars and buses. Perfect paper for that card!
Cute card Beth! Love all those little cars.
This is one of my favorite folds, Beth! Your cards are fantastic!
Love this fold Beth! My favorite is the sailboat version. Can’t wait to give this one a try.
Both are so cute and fun. I think the one with the vehicles are my favorite. I love the DSP you used from the tiny hearts in the air to the striped piece that looks like a roadway and the grass area. Just too clever. Pieced paper vehicles are too much fun too. I guess I had better get off my duff and place an order so I can get the stamp set and papers from SAB before they are gone. I can see me making lots of these cards to send to shut ins or nursing homes etc. Love these fun folds!
Both of those cards are so cute! It will certainly give someone a smile when they receive them.
Oh, Beth, this is absolutely fantastic and perfect for the Driving By stamp set. I don’t have it yet, but I’m sure I will at some point.
Just adorable —
This fold is perfect for the cars and the sail boats! I love the papers you used as well. Both are great.
