Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Create Your Own Background. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
To create a unique background, I used the new Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder and smooshed white Stampin’ Craft Ink over the top. My ink pad is fairly dry, so it worked well with this technique. I had so much fun making the Polished Pink card, I made the card again with both Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party. The non traditional colors seem to work well for this card. Which color is your favorite? The little silver stars are made with Silver Foil and the 3 star die in the Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot dies.
I have a live video showing how to make this card here with measurements and directions.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on August 10th. Our theme will be Seasons’ Greetings, where we will showcase projects inspired by our favorite seasonal time of the year.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Love the colors of these cards, and I think we chose a similar technique for our blogs! I love how light the trees are – a perfect accent!
Beautiful cards. They are clean and simple, and quite striking. I like all three of the colors. Gorgeous wedding photos! Congrats!
Cute cards Beth! I really like the untraditional Polished Pink, but they are all very beautiful. Great background technique!
So cute! I, too, have a very dry white pad. I will need to try this!
These cards are so fun. I think the blue is my favorite. I think evening evergreen would be great as well. Looking forward to trying these. Wow, what an elegant wedding!
Love these! I’m always inspired by non-traditional colors for Christmas cards. 🙂
And these look like they’re fairly simple…nice when you need to make a stack!
thanks for sharing. 🙂
Great trio of cards, Beth! Love the trees in the circles; can’t pick a favorite!
Love the idea of the cards and love all the colors!!!
These are so cute! I favor the pink as well. I can’t wait to give this a try. It looks like a lot of fun!
