When I saw the Global Design Project had the theme of Love for this week’s challenge, I knew my husband, Steve, was about to get a Valentine.
I was blessed to become best friends with my husband when we were 12 years old. He asked me to marry him when I was 14 and we got married at 22. I’ll save the 14 year old marriage proposal story for another day…
Steve is still the love of my life 40 years later so this shiny, sparkly Valentine is for him.
Yep, I did cut out the center of the Red Foil Sheet to make the heart for the envelope and because Stampin’ Up! Foil Sheets are more expensive than regular cardstock, but oh so worth it! The red hearts on the card are punched from Red Glimmer Paper.
Hope you’re inspired to make a Valentine for your sweetheart!
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

Décidemment j’aime ce set de tampon, la fraîcheur de cette carte, elle est superbe.
Bonjour de France =^..^=

Love this card! It’s simple and “clean” but elegant. Congratulations on your time together with your husband! May you have many more “Valentine’s Days”!
