Kylie’s Top 10 Winners Hop

Thanks so much for voting for me in this month’s International Highlights contest! Because the card above made the Top 10 this month, I get to be part of this blog hop with these talented stampers!

I made this with Sam Hammond’s Million Dollar set, Sentimental Swirls, which will be available starting January 4th. It is super versatile and one of my favorites in the new catalog. I used Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder on the swirl, flowers and sentiment and stamped the flower a second time with Highland Heather. The flowers are popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I made several easy notecards with this set. Here’s a video showing the Sentimental Swirls notecards. My husband, Steve, and I do live videos every Tuesday at 7pm CT and would love to have you join us and subscribe to our channel.

Tool Time

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. We all are showing projects this month using a favorite stamping tool. You are currently visiting Beth McCullough from the USA. I’d love it if you would subscribe to my blog here.

My favorite tools that made me fall in love with stamping, are the heat tool, Versamark and embossing powders. Heat Embossing is magical!

I used Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder to create the ” i do” on the front of this card. The layers are from the Hippo & Friends Dies. I love the Black Glittered Ribbon with the Hand Penned DSP and Silver Foil.

“Congratulations” is from the the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the stitched hearts are made with the Give it a Whirl dies. The “i do” and glasses stamps are retired, as is the Sale-A-Bration Beautifully Penned polka dot DSP. Everything else is current and on the product list at the bottom of this post. I put two little pockets on the inside, for a note and check for Sean and Amy.

The Engagement party was in College Station, Texas for our son, Sean, and his fiancée, Amy. Our plane was cancelled and we had a terrible time getting there, but a fabulous time after we finally made it. We loved meeting Amy’s friends and family! It was also our first time to see Sean’s home that he bought a couple months ago in Austin, Texas. On Monday we helped switch out doorknobs, paint, wash windows etc. Sean was pretty happy with the work the three of us got done.

Expressions In Ink

How to do Voting?

The Double Step fun fold card is easy to make. Here’s a link to a video showing how to make the Double Step card. The video shows a different Double Step card, but once you make the card base you can decorate it any way you want. For this particular card the two side panels are 7/8″ x 3-1/8″ Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (DSP). The long panel in front with the embossed “thanks” from the new Biggest Wish stamp set, is 7/8″ x 5-3/8″. The gold foil is 3-1/8″ x 3-1/4″. The Basic White layer and everything on the flower is from the Expressions in Ink Bundle.

The inside of the card has the sentiment embossed in Gold and the cool watercolor stamped image.

I have been a Stampin’ Up! demo since 2003 and have never even come close to earning the incentive trip. This year I am the closest I’ve ever been largerly due to most of my Joy Team members promoting this year, but I need to sell a lot in the next three months.
