It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0050 is Inspire Your Heart With Art (Jan 31). The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!
I used rainbow, calendar, inspiration sentiment, stitching, and die cuts off the Inspo List.
Here’s a free PDF showing the supplies and directions to make this calendar. I purchased the frame at IKEA for 99 cents. I purchased 10 calendars for $3 at Taylored Expressions. What a deal!
The calendar is attached to the outside of the plastic in the frame so you can remove each month’s calendar. For more inspiration, be sure to visit the rest of the Festive Friday Design Team .
Here’s a card I made last fall with the Follow Your art Suite. As you can see I love the silver heat embossed scissors colored in with blends. I also love the rainbow paper.
Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! We’re showcasing our favorite new products from 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I used the Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Pad Dies and the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make this stand up fun fold card.
This DSP is beautiful and has many of my favorite colors including Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Lovely Lipstick, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.
This card would look so nice sitting on someone’s desk to brighten their day! The card measures 5″ x 5-1/4″ when closed, so you’ll need a bigger than normal envelope. Here’s a free PDF of all supplies and directions to make this fun fold card. I hope I’ve convinced you to choose the Lily Pad products for some of your Sale-A-Bration products! Choose a free gift with each $50 order. Here’s a video tutorial showing how easy it is to make this card.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 12th, for our Art From The Heart blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects made from the heart for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun!
I’m participating in a monthly International Blog Highlights contest and the top 10 vote winners get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it! Thanks to everyone who voted last month, I was very excited to make the top 10 last month!

We had a fun weekend and got to see two of our kids. Abby came home from Iowa City and Ryan stopped over after church for Sunday Brunch. Sunday Brunch at our house is usually yummy eggs, sour dough toast and guacamole. Steve made today’s eggs with sauteed onions and peppers, pulled roast beef and white cheddar cheese. I showed Ryan how the cool people put guac on their bread to make Avocado Toast- yum! The eggs were even better because they were farm fresh eggs from my BSF friend, Christy. Thanks Christy!
Steve is recovering nicely from knee surgery, but still having lots of heart episodes. On the evening of New Year’s Day, I came close to calling 911. Steve and I were taking down the Christmas tree and he almost passed out. We don’t have a surgery date scheduled yet, but hope the referral to Mayo goes through. He did spend this weekend with a heart monitor on so maybe we’ll find out more soon.
Class Schedule– If you live in the Des Moines area and would like to come to classes at my Stamping Studio, please save the following dates: Jan 23 at 1pm and 6pm, Feb 27 at 1pm and 6pm and March 26 at 1pm and 6pm. The dates are subject to change based on when we need to take trips to Mayo and when Steve’s surgery is scheduled. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’ll reserve a spot for you!
