Playful Pets Gift Card Holder

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0069 is National Cat Day (Oct 29). The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. I used cats, yarn/baker’s twine, mice/fish, and sparkle from the Inspo List. Pick 3 off the list, make something and enter our Festive Friday Challenge.

The Rainbow Glimmer Paper has been on backorder for a long time, but it is back in stock! I hope this card will convince you that you need some. The only tricky part on this card is the black cardstock to the left of the image is cut off when you run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) I just glued it onto the Magenta Madness cardstock right next to the image, and you probably wouldn’t have known it had been cut off until I told you. 🙂 This is a simple thank you card, but I think the recipient will love it because the Rainbow Glimmer Paper makes it so pretty!

Anything made with the Rainbow Glimmer Paper is what I call a happy card. Here’s some more cards that I’ve made with this paper.

I used my Stamparatus to make a mirror image of the zebra so these zebra friends could be smiling at each other. The bows in their hair are from the Hippo Happiness set. If hippos can have hair bows, I think zebras need them too. My daughter, Abby, had a bow in her hair everyday from birth until third grade. She came home one day and said she was done with bows and never wore a bow again. It was fun while it lasted. Now I put hairbows on my zebras instead. 🙂 My pups are pretty happy I’m not putting the hairbows on them!
