It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0080 is World Autism Awareness Day which is on April 2.
Our hearts go out to those impacted by Autism. Steve’s company, Iowa Student Loan, takes this seriously to the point of offering two scholarships each year for young adults with Autism to attend the University of Iowa Reach program.
UI REACH (Realizing Educational and Career Hopes) is a comprehensive transition program for students ages 18-25 years old with intellectual, cognitive and learning disabilities. UI REACH offers an integrated college experience in a caring and structured environment. The program was founded in 2008 by Sally Petersen, former Lt. Governor of Iowa, to help her autistic son. For more on this story, see https://researchautism.org/ui-reach-program-prepares-students-for-independent-living/
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you!
As you can see, your project doesn’t have to be about World Autism Awareness Day. I used bright colors, butterfly, rainbow, blue, patterned paper and ribbon.
Unfortunately, as of last night this Designer Series Paper (DSP) is no longer available. You can see all the supplies I used to make this card at the bottom of this post.
