The Sweet and Sassy heart framelits helped make quick work of these sweet cards.

The Quilt Builder Framelits are retired, but I love these cute cards made with the Delightful Daisy DSP, which is still current.

This is a shadow box lotion holder. My name for it…we’ll have to ask Marcelyn when I ask her to show me how to make one. This isn’t half of what Marcelyn got made last week and she is still recovering from a very bad cold. Keegan had his Ensemble Acting performance on Saturday and he and Nora did awesome! Unfortunately, the judge didn’t like it as much as we did and they got a 2. They needed a 1 to go on to State competition. In the scheme of things this isn’t a big deal, but it was a huge deal to 17 year old Keegan. He’s a senior and will never get to do this competition again. I reminded him of John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble. “(Keegan feels really bummed about this) and also Romans 8:39, “Nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.” From an eternal perspective, suffering on this earth has an expiration date, but glory is eternal!

Valentine Triangle Box

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. This month our theme is Valentines! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Beth McCullough @ Stamping Mom or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

You need a 6″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock to make this box. Recently I made a dozen of these for an event and then realized I had lots of 5″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock leftover. What should I do with that? Well, you can cut that in half, making two 5″ x 4-1/4″. You get two of these and can make a Lots to Love Box a little smaller than the intended size.

As you can see the paper isn’t as long as the die and barely fits width wise. (You can also see I get a ton of use from my Big Shot from the well used plate.)

You can get both of these cut from the 5″ x 8-1/2″ leftover piece and make the box below.

The Tutti Frutti DSP is 2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. The circle punches are 1-3/4″ and 2″. The heart is from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies. The heart is popped up on dimensional. What’s going inside my box? I asked Steve what he would want to receive, and he thought Dove Dark Chocolate hearts would be a great thing to put in this box!

Here’s the Lots to Love Box at it’s intended size of 3″ x 4-3/4″.

I had a lot of questions about directions for the Triangle Box, after I posted it last week. Well, here’s some basic instructions.

I left the back of the box open to put the Lindt Lindor Truffle in the box. I used a little bit of SNAIL adhesive to attach the back flaps. I want the recipient to be able to get the candy out and not ruin the box. The Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon is tied on the top of the red box and gold Love Mini Tinsel Trim on the Melon Mambo box.

The DSP on the front of the Triangle box is 1-1/2″ x 2″. I used the 1″ and 1-1/4″ circle punches. The heart is cut from the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.

Pals “From the Heart” Blog Hop
