April 2023 Thank You Cards
I participate in Bruno and Kylie’s World Wide Training Group and am excited to be part of their monthly Blog Hop. The Blog Hop focuses on the Thank You cards that we are sending to our customers.
I love to send cards to my customers each month. Here’s a new fun fold I’ve never done before. I have a video showing how easy it is to make this card. You could use whatever Designer Series Paper (DSP) and stamps you already have. I used the Shaded Summer stamp set and Texture Chic DSP which are both retiring, but still available when I wrote this post. 🙂
Measurements & Details
Card Base 5-1/2″ x 11″ score with the short side at the top at 3-3/8″ and 7-5/8″
Cut 1-7/8″ from the top and bottom to the score lines on each side. You’ll have two flaps on one side and one on the other. It’s personal preference which side has two and which side has one. I’ve done it both ways. The video will really help you understand the scoring and cutting for this card.
(2) Gold Foil Layers on top and bottom 3-1/4″ x 1-3/4″
(2) DSP Layers on top and bottom 3-1/8″ x 1-5/8″
(1) Gold Foil Layer for middle 3-1/4″ x 1-5/8″
(1) DSP Layer for middle 3-1/8″ x 1-1/2″
All this to say all three pieces are the same length, but the middle piece is not quite as wide.
