I used the Bee Thankful stamp set to make this bright and cheery card for my very dear friend, Jean, who helps me more than you can imagine with my business. She started a few years ago doing some Big Shot work to help get ready for my classes. Then we started consulting together on lots of cards you see here on my blog. She has a passion for fun folds. She used to search the internet for them, now she just creates her own! I could go on and on. Thanks so much for everything you do, Jean, but more importantly thanks for being my friend for life! 🙂

We had a fun weekend and got to see two of our kids. Abby came home from Iowa City and Ryan stopped over after church for Sunday Brunch. Sunday Brunch at our house is usually yummy eggs, sour dough toast and guacamole. Steve made today’s eggs with sauteed onions and peppers, pulled roast beef and white cheddar cheese. I showed Ryan how the cool people put guac on their bread to make Avocado Toast- yum! The eggs were even better because they were farm fresh eggs from my BSF friend, Christy. Thanks Christy!

Steve is recovering nicely from knee surgery, but still having lots of heart episodes. On the evening of New Year’s Day, I came close to calling 911. Steve and I were taking down the Christmas tree and he almost passed out. We don’t have a surgery date scheduled yet, but hope the referral to Mayo goes through. He did spend this weekend with a heart monitor on so maybe we’ll find out more soon.

Class Schedule– If you live in the Des Moines area and would like to come to classes at my Stamping Studio, please save the following dates: Jan 23 at 1pm and 6pm, Feb 27 at 1pm and 6pm and March 26 at 1pm and 6pm. The dates are subject to change based on when we need to take trips to Mayo and when Steve’s surgery is scheduled. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’ll reserve a spot for you!
