I love making easy fun folds that make handmade cards more interesting. This one would look lovely sitting on someone’s desk. 🙂

My husband, Steve, had his fourth and final surgery since November 2019 and he is happy to be done. He’s on the road to recovery and hopeful he will be able to run again. Thanks for praying for him.

Our oldest son, Sean, moved from Seattle, WA to Austin, TX last week with a long pit stop this summer in West Des Moines. We were blessed to have him here and enjoyed many games of Euchre and lots of family dinners. He also did a great job taking care of our lawn this summer. It’s never looked so good! With Steve’s knee bummed up, I will need to learn how to mow the lawn again. Austin will be a great place for Steve and I to visit this winter. 🙂

Here’s my new project for Kylie’s Top 10 Winners Blog Hop! I made a simple fun fold card you can use over and over again. It’s like a standard A2 card except it’s cut at 5-1/2″ x 7″ scored at 4-1/4″. I stamped the flowers using Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight. The leaves are Granny Apple Green. I heat embossed the big flower centers and the “Thanks” with Stampin’ Emboss Powder-Silver. I usually would use Whisper White to stamp on, but I did something new for me and stamped on Purple Posy. What do you think? I hope you like it 🙂

My Stamping Joy Team is doing a Fall Sampler of 3″ x 3″ squares and the square mounted on this card is is one of our “warm up” squares. Actually, I like it so much, maybe it should be the final square from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. What do you think? Everyone chooses a different set to use. We’ve had so much interest in our Samplers, we are selling the 3″ x 3″ squares already made and then everyone can put together their own Fall Sampler. Let me know if you’re interested.
