Along These Lines stamp set paired with the Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Hearts of Elegance for the sentiment makes a great congratulations card for a friend with a new puppy! I love the sentiment for this card, because if you’ve ever had a new pup, you know it doesn’t take long until they have your heart!

This week’s Festive Friday Design Team’s challenge #FF0186 is World Pet Memorial Day.

Pet Memorial Day still pulls my heart strings because I miss my best two pups ever, Maya & Molly.

My sweet pups Maya & Molly lived 13 and 15 years. They were sisters two years apart and Bichon-Shih Tzu mixes, or teddy bear dogs. They were soft and cuddly, just like a teddy bear. They both spent their lives loving Steve and I and our four kids and working as therapy dogs in memory care and elderly assisted living every Wednesday. They retired when Covid began. Maya always wore a red harness so the people we visited could tell her apart from her sister, Molly, who always wore purple. Maya would convince each person she sat with that they were her best friend. Molly loved everyone as long as I didn’t leave her side. Molly and I were tightly bonded. I know many of you are grieving the pups you dearly loved.

Instead of making a Pet Memorial card, I decided it would be fun to celebrate a friend who just got a new puppy!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

I want to showcase my favorite new flowers from the Floral Impressions Suite Collection. I love this suite because of the beautiful bright color Designer Series Paper (DSP), embossed flowers, the oval dies and more! I’d love to hear what your favorite new products are. Here’s card #1 using only products in the Floral Impressions Suite Collection and the coordinating cardstock. The “flower sets” are floating on a window sheet.

I made the card a second time using different colors and the same DSP. The flowers and flower centers are cut from the DSP on card #2. Which color combination is your favorite?

Impressions Abloom Bundle

This is how I first made card #1, without the extra “flower sets” coming out of the “flower box.” In the video I show how to make the card to this point. The next day I decided to add the “flower sets” on window sheets shown below. I adhered one flower set behind both sides of the “flower box.” Do you like the cards better with or without the added “flower sets?”

Here’s what I used to make the flower sets.
