This month, the theme is Fabulous Flowers. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! The first thing I thought of for Fabulous Flowers is the beautiful Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP). Get yours before it runs out.
Measurements and Directions-You can watch the video showing how to make this card with all the measurements and directions here. The card making begins at around 7 minutes into the video. These windmills were a little intimidating to make until I got started. Then they were super easy. I live near Pella, Iowa where there is a Tulip Festival every May. This year it’s May 5-7. I bet these cards with windmills and tulips would be a hit at the Pella Tulip Festival.

Misty Moonlight card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.
Cabin Layer 4″ x 5-1/4″ New Horizons Designer Series Paper (DSP). I ran the Grassy Grove die through with Beauty of the Earth (brown tree trunks) and again with New Horizons DSP for the beautifully watercolored grass and trees. The two deer are die cut in Early Espresso.

Steve and I were in Tucson, Arizona for a business trip last week. The highlight of the trip was having lunch with Mary Fish and strolling through the new catalog. It’s a blessing to be part of her team! 🙂

Catalog Shares
I am doing product shares again for the Annual Catalog. The order for this goes in on May 3rd and your shares will be mailed by May 11th. I haven’t finalized the pricing yet, but will have the numbers by next week. This is wedding shower week at our house and I’m busy getting ready for two wedding showers and out of town guests. It will be so much fun! 🙂
Steve and I got to go hiking in Tucson on two days, but my torn ACL greatly limited what I was able to do.
It was fun to enjoy the warmth and sunshine in Tucson. They have amazing guacamole too!

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0128 is World Music Therapy Day which is March 2nd.

From the Inspo List I used stripes, twine, and embossing.
Measurements
Cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Balmy Blue CS scored at 4-1/4″. Cut 3-3/4″ off the upper right hand corner in both directions. See picture below.
Cut and adhere 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White CS inside the card.
Cut 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ DSP and then cut diagonally. Adhere the upper right triangle inside the card leaving a border. Adhere the lower left triangle on the front of the card.
Cut 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ Sahara Sand CS and adhere near the bottom on the front of the card. Cut and layer a 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ DSP on top of the Sahara Sand CS.
Run a scrap of Sahara Sand CS through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to card front being careful not to put glue in the upper right hand corner so you don’t glue your card shut. 🙂
Run DSP shown in picture through the SCEM with the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle die. Pop up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Decorate card as shown in the picture.

Creativity Abounds is a world wide design team and we put together a new tutorial bundle every month using Stampin’ Up supplies.
It was a whirlwind March, but with the help of some very sweet friends, and the generosity of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and Stampin Up demos and customers, we were able to raise $4000 for Marcelyn’s family for funeral expenses. The reminder of Marcelyn’s Stampin’ Up! stash has been returned to her family. My dining room is empty. It’s time to clean the dining room (and the rest of the house) and prepare for my son, daughter-in-law and her family to arrive from Texas for Wedding Shower weekend! We are looking forward to it!
