Spooky Fun Party Ensemble

Bats and witches and things that go “bump!” in the night – it’s time for Halloween. Create spooky fun party favors and decorations with the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. The gate fold card can be used as a greeting card or as a party invitation. If you decide not to host a party, the luminaries will light the way for trick-or-treaters and the favors can be your treats for the goblins and ghosts at your door. The best thing about this project is that you can substitute another bundle and turn it into an ensemble for any holiday or celebration.

I had a great time at therapy dogs this afternoon.  My favorite retired pediatrician is finally feeling better and had great stories for me today. My gals in Memory Care couldn’t get over how soft and cuddly Molly was today.  It’s funny, I always going there hoping to bless someone and I always come home feeling blessed by them.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

The idea came from Constantly Stamping.

Keegan drove his first solo mission tonight and returned home with both he and the car intact!  Success for day 1!  Please pray for many more successful driving days for my 16 year old son.  There’s a reason auto insurance is highest for these young men.  Speaking of which, it honestly just occurred to me, we need to get him added to our insurance!  On the to do list for tomorrow.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Today was a very good day!  Keegan, our youngest, turned 16 today and got his Driver’s License.  He is one happy dude!  Keegan is a sweet, smart, kind young man and we feel very blessed to have him as our son.

Abby found out today she is a National Merit Semi-Finalist!  Most students in the U.S. take a PSAT test in October of their junior year.  The top one percent in each state become a National Merit Semi- Finalist.  Next February they announce the Finalists, many of whom get full ride, or free tuition scholarships to college.  Abby wants to study Biomedical Engineering and then go to medical school to become a Neurologist or grad school to do research to help cure Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  She is thrilled to now have some of her college paid for so she can afford medical/grad school without going hugely in debt.  If you have younger kids or grand kids and want to hear more about the National Merit Scholarship program, please let know.  I’d be happy to tell you about it and hopefully help make the cost of college reduced for your kiddo too.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
