Cookie Cutter Christmas Double Z Fold card

2016badge-cucumber

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for October 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month our projects feature cards made using “wicked” folds. What is a “wicked” fold? It is anything other than the standard A2 card fold. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

The little gingerbread house that I snipped out of the Candy Cane Lane DSP is adorable!

Were you surprised to see the cute gingerbread kids on the inside?  I hope it made you smile!

All the supplies I used are shown at the bottom of this post.  The red card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. The smaller red piece is 2-1/4″ x 11″.  I had to make it that wide to cover the gingerbread kids when the card was shut.  The white “snow pieces” are (2 pieces) 2-1/2″ x 4 and (1) 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Please email me if you have any questions. Here’s the view from the top.  You may be able to see I used the Softly Falling embossing folder to have “snow” all over the background of the card.

Woo-Hoo!

Woo-Hoo! I made my promotion! Thanks to everyone who placed orders, purchased Holiday shares and/or encouraged me toward my goal.  Thanks to my uplines Ann Schach, Mary Fish, and Lisa Pretto.  I have rock star uplines!  All three of my uplines are in the top 100 demos in the U.S.  Who knows, maybe that will be me someday… (a girl can dream)  🙂  Anyway, two years ago I resigned from Stampin’ Up! and immediately signed up again with this amazing team.  Best decision ever! I love the community, camaraderie, conventions, online meetings, support, prizes and fun that being on this team gives me and my team mates.  Thanks also to my awesome teammates Pam, Lynn, Marcelyn, Pat, Linda and Jenny.  You gals are awesome!  I love stamping with you and spending time with you.  If you have ever thought about purchasing Stampin’ Up! at a discount and getting lots of other perks along the way, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com , I’d love to chat with you about it.  I have gals who strictly do this as a hobby to get the discount and sell to no one else, and I have business builders who are making money.  There is no pressure to do any more than what you want to do!  Everyone gets time and attention from me and all the other perks of being a Pal.  You don’t have to live nearby, almost everything happens online and there are Pals all over the U.S.

Thanks to everyone who left comments over at Craft Project Central on my project.  I had Superman randomly draw a winner and we made a video to verify the fairness of the drawing. If you want to see the video, it’s posted on my StampingMom Facebook page here  The winner is Gale Smith. Congratulations Gale!  Please email me to find out how to redeem your subscription. Party with Cake

I used this month’s Creating Pretty Cards Card Sketch #63 (CPC63) at Craft Project Central to create this bright and happy card. If you make a card using the sketch and submit it, you could win a FREE Month Subscription to Craft Project Central! CLICK HERE to find out how.

Stampin Up Party with Cake Birthday card designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom

The stamp sets I used are Party with Cake and Better Together.  The DSP is Pop of Pink.  Can you tell where the black dot in the middle of the O came from?  Yep, it’s a White Perfect Accent colored with my Black Sharpie marker.  Can you guess who I would make a pink and black card with hearts and arrows?  You probably guessed, my sweet Abby.  She is an archer and I love her so much, but her birthday isn’t until February.  As I was trying to find stamps to use for this challenge, subconsciously I must’ve been thinking of Abby!
