I am currently selling product shares to demos and spent the weekend working on them. I took a break to play with some of the new product I’ve been cutting, counting and stacking. The new Sweet Talk DSP (Designer Series Paper) is darling and is not just for Valentine’s Day. It’s more of a “show your love and appreciation all year long” sort of DSP.
I send a handmade card for each order I receive and this is one of the versions for my December customer thank you cards. Here’s the details about this card:
5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Real Red Cardstock(CS) scored at 2-1/8″ and 5-1/4″
(2) Sweet Talk DSP- stripes 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″
Sweet Talk DSP- hearts 3″ x 4″
Gorgeous Grape CS 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
Basic White CS 3″ x 4″
scraps of Bermuda Bay and Real Red for die cutting the hearts
the big heart is cut with the dies from the Love & Happiness Bundle
the little hears are cut with dies from the Give it a Whirl dies
See all the supplies I used at the bottom of this post.
I popped up these little hearts that were cut with the Give it a Whirl dies.

It seems like the new year is a long time away, but really it’s only three weeks! My “To do” list is longer than three weeks worth, so I better get to it.
We celebrate Christmas with Steve’s family on a day other than Christmas, so everyone can spend time with their own families. This year we decided to get together on New Year’s Day to celebrate extended family Christmas, which works well for our son and fiancée who will be visiting from Austin, Texas. So I guess for me, this is like a Christmas card this year. 🙂
This is a lever fun fold card. Here’s a Live video showing how to make it. In the video I turn it in the other direction and make a fun snowman card. All the measurements are clearly given.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s challenge #FF0099 is New Year’s Day which is always on January 1st of course. 🙂
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you! From the Inspo List I used emboss, stars, rhinestones, black, silver, diecuts. Your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with New Year’s Day.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Favorite Things.” The Design Team will be showcasing their favorite products from any of the current products and you might even see some sneak peeks, as well! We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My very favorite thing in the new Mini Catalog is the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle! I love seeing an awesome sunrise or sunset. It’s always a treat to see a beautiful rainbow after a storm. God’s handiwork is amazing! What could be better for someone like me who loves making bright and happy cards than the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle. When I saw the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP in the Jan-Feb 2022 SAB catalog, I knew I needed to make Sunshine & Rainbows calendars.
These calendars are super easy to make.
4-1/4″ x 11″ Cardstock (CS) scored at 5-1/2″
4-1/4″ x 5″ CS scored at 1″, 2-1/2″, 4″ for calendar base
1-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ CS
4″ x 5-1/4″ DSP
I’ve been making these calendars for years. Here’s a YouTube Video from a couple years ago showing how to put them together.
You could send calendars instead of Christmas cards.
Here you can see there’s a “base” inside that helps the calendar stand up easily. I hope you are inspired to make some calendars! I purchased my calendars from Taylored Expressions. All the rest of the supplies are at the bottom of this post.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 12th. Our theme will be “Time to Sale-A-Brate” when our Design Team will showcase items from Sale-A-Bration as the focal point of their project.. Until then, have fun in your craft space.
