Magnolia card

This Magnolia card is so pretty and easy to make as long as you don’t mind fussy cutting. This card is perfect for get well, encouragement, thank you, sympathy and more.

Bird Ballad Box

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0048 is National Wear Your Pearls Day (Dec 15). Here’s a picture of our table before the guests arrived. You can see the fudge boxes on the table. Here’s the post about the Fudge Boxes. Most of our family thought their own personal 3″ x 3″ square of fudge was one of their favorite parts of our Thanksgiving 🙂

My Dad’s favorite thing is Pecan Pie, so I always make him a homemade Pecan Pie with a lard crust. Love you Dad! Dad is 80, but exercises everyday, so he can get away with some pie every now and then.

If you’re in USA, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I had fun hosting my family, making three pies (apple, pecan and coconut cream), lots of other food, playing dominoes, telling old family stories and everyone saying what they are thankful for. We start at the youngest and go by age to the oldest. Dad is now the oldest person at our Thanksgiving gathering.

Here’s my Magnolia Fun Fold card. For the hop we needed to make an encouragement card. What’s more encouraging than being loved. I feel blessed to be loved by God, my awesome husband, Steve, my kids, all my family and friends. I made this card for someone special so they can set it on their desk and always be reminded that they are loved!
