I am so happy to be stamping again!  Here’s my 3 Hershey Nuggets Halloween Box.  Don’t you love this Halloween Night DSP?!  I love it too!  One of the reasons I haven’t been stamping as much, besides all the travel, is I’ve been putting together my Holiday catalog shares.  Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased them! They have all been mailed.  If you’ve been considering buying one, please do.  Everyone I’ve heard from so far is very happy with the paper, ribbon and embellishments I’ve sent them.  Send me an email beth@StampingMom.com and let me know if you want an “I want it all” for $54 includes shipping or a paper share for $26.45 includes shipping.  This truly is a good deal!

Even if you don’t celebrate Halloween, doesn’t my little polka dot bat make you smile?  It took me about 3 seconds to cut out this bat using the Halloween Scenes Edgelit Dies and my Big Shot.  I hope all of you have a Big Shot.  If you don’t, I’m running a “Promotion” special.  If you purchase a Big Shot from me in September, you can choose $25 in additional Stampin’ Up! products free.  If your order totals $150, you’ll also get an additional 10% in products from Stampin’ Up!

I had my first Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) leadership meeting for the new study today.  It was fun to see all the other leaders and begin praying as we prepare to study the book of John starting Sept. 13.

Keegan found out this morning he did not get the lead role in Oklahoma that he was hoping for.  He goes to a really big school with stiff competition.  In true Keegan style, he’ll do his best in the part he was given and try again in November to blow away his next audition.  I think in acting you really learn to roll with the punches.  The upside is, he is now really good at singing, “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning” from Oklahoma and I love that song!

Hope you have a great day!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

The Coaster Calendar plus Post it Notes that I posted on July 13 has been wildly popular, so I’ve decided to do a give away.  For every $50 Stampin’ Up order purchased from my online store using Host Code UGQHHRVJ, I’ll send you the supplies to make your own coaster calendar.  This includes two pieces of 4 x 4 coaster board, two pieces of Stampin’ Up! DSP cut at 4 1/8 x 4 1/8, one calendar, one small stack of post it notes and two coordinating ribbons.  If you purchased these products on your own, you would probably spend almost $50.  For every $100 Stampin’ Up order purchased from my online store using Host Code UGQHHRVJ, you’ll get the supplies to make your own coaster calendar plus a second coaster calendar completely finished by me.  Here’s the link to my online store.  I only have a limited amount of supplies, so please order soon!  My offer will be combined with the Stampin’ Up! Bonus Days offer in which you’ll get an additional 10% back to spend in August.

I’m a designer for the Use Your Stuff Challenge blog and this week our challenge is to use floral patterned papers on your project.  Please join the challenge here.

Here’s a video I made last year showing how to make these Coaster Calendars.

This will be an exciting week because we are getting on our bikes for a couple days and riding across Iowa.  Isn’t that what everyone does when they become empty nesters for five days?  Here’s a link explaining RAGBRAI.  We are only doing two days out of seven and both days are around 70 miles.  So if you’re wondering if I’ve ever ridden 70 miles on my bike in one day, the answer is no.  Superman has participated a couple days for each of the last four years, so for him 70 miles is no big deal. Superman and I go to cycle classes at our YMCA and I typically ride about 20 miles in 45 minutes.  Never mind that I’m in air conditioning with a fan blowing on me, no possibility of falling down, only fake hills that I create by upping my gears and not on a crowded road.  I did do one day of RAGBRAI two years ago and I loved it!  It was 75 degrees and cloudy, almost no hills and the ride was around 45 miles.  I’ve had it on my bucket list since I was 14 to ride on RAGBRAI, but didn’t do it until I was 50.  I thought I was pretty smart to participate on a beautiful day with short mileage and not many hills.  Unfortunately this year will be much hotter, longer and way more hills.  We’ll see how smart I feel this year. 🙂  My sister-in-law Peg will always be just a cell phone call away.  If at any point I’ve decided I’ve had it, I’ll call Peg and she’ll swoop in and rescue me.  Two of Steve’s brothers, Bill and Mike are going with us.   Please pray for us that everything goes smoothly and no one gets hurt.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
