Random Act of Kindness Treats

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, our blog hop team made projects to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week, which is February 14-20! We hope you will be inspired by all the beautiful creations the Pals made for you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love the idea of Random Acts of Kindness Week! It’s so much fun to randomly hand out treats to those who least expect it. In order to maximize the number of treats I can give out, I wanted to make sure my treats are super simple to make. I also wanted to make treats that would make the recipient smile! After I got started making them, more ideas kept popping into my head, so I have several pictures to show you. Scroll all the way through to see my favorite at the end. All the treats were made with a Dove Dark Chocolate Heart (Red Swirl Hearts), Dove Milk Chocolate Heart (Pink Swirl Hearts) or Hershey’s Chocolate Heart (both Pale Pink and Silver Hearts)

To make the Butterfly Treats, I used the Ladybug Builder Punch and the 2022-24 In Color Glimmer Paper. I cut out two sets of wings and attached everything with Mini Glue Dots

Country Bouquet Valentine Treat

Stampin Up Country Bouquet Valentine Treat designed by demo Beth McCullough. Shop 24/7 and see more fun fold and 3-D gift ideas at https://stampingmom.com/country-bouquet-valentine-treat #stampingmom, #bethmccullough, #sharestampinup, #cute&simple4u, #stampinup, #bright&happy

Would you like to brighten someone’s day by giving them a little Valentine treat? Here’s a simple way to gift a Hershey’s bar. Everything you need to make it is in the Country Floral Lane Suite, except the Stitched Rectangle die. I found the inspiration for this treat holder on page 8 of the new Spring 2023 Stampin’ Up catalog.

Measurements

The Crumb Cake Card Stock (CS) is 5-1/2″ long and 6″ wide. Put the long side at the top in your trimmer and score at 1/2″, 2-3/4″, 3-1/4″ and 5-1/2″. Fold and burnish score lines. Use Tear & Tape and adhere the two 1/2″ sections to form a box around the Hershey’s candy bar. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com if you have any questions. You can see all the products I used and order from my online store at the bottom of this post.

It’s time for another Festive Friday Card Making and Paper Crafting Challenge!  Have you ever joined a card making challenge? Well, this is a great place to start. For this challenge you look at the Inspo list posted below, pick 3 items and make a card. It’s that easy! Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I will be happy to help you. This week’s Festive Friday Challenge #FF0126 is National Wear Red Day which is February 3rd. What is National Wear Red Day you ask?…it’s a day to bring greater attention to heart disease as a leading cause of death for people all over the world. They offer resources to motivate us to protect our hearts. My family has been affected by heart disease and I bet you may know someone affected as well.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! It doesn’t have to have anything to do with National Wear Red Day. #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. From the Inspo List, I used red, ribbon and rhinestones.

Please check out all the projects made by my Festive Friday Design Team friends below.

Last Minute Cards/Gifts

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Last Minute Gifts/Cards to inspire you with your holiday list. We really hope that you will be enjoy all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

With only 11 days until Christmas, I wanted to show you a couple of my favorite quick and easy projects from this season.

Every year I make my friend, Lindsay, about 35 gift tags that she gives out with her Christmas treats. I like to come up with a design that isn’t too time consuming. The Celebration Tags dies made this year’s tags quick and easy. It’s also nice that there’s a spot to write a note inside each tag.

Lindsay’s son, Oliver, always poses in front of their Christmas tree with my tags and Lindsay’s bags of homemade treats. Oliver is in kindergarten this year, so we’ll have to see how many more years he’ll be a willing participant in this tradition. He’s such a sweet young man. 🙂

I hope you were able to get the Celebration Tag Dies before supplies ran out. The “Merry Christmas” sentiment came from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in the Annual catalog.

Every year at Thanksgiving time, Steve opens up his fudge factory. We end up giving dozens of fudge boxes to friends and neighbors. I make several different versions of the fudge box depending on the supplies I have available.

These boxes were made for my Bible Study Fellowship friends. I cut 1 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ Snowflake Vellum and adhered it to the box with Mini Glue dots because I didn’t want the adhesive to show through the vellum. The beautiful “Merry Christmas” and tag die are from the Brightest Glow Bundle. These products are carrying over into another catalog, but not at the 10% off bundled price. Get them now for the best deal. This was a simple, yet elegant way to decorate the boxes.

In the past I’ve used Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes and Pizza boxes for my fudge boxes. Both of these products have retired, so I used the Envelope Treat Boxes from the Fall Mini Catalog. Get yours here while they are still available. The size of the box is a little smaller, so I’ve wondered if our fudge recipients will think it’s part of shrinkflation? Steve says we are just helping everyone with portion control. 🙂

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 11th when our theme will be Sale-A-Bration Time. The design team will showcase projects made from Sale-A-Bration items.
