Happy May Day on May 1st! Do you celebrate May Day? My kids and I would always make homemade baskets and fill them with popcorn and candy. The kids had a blast leaving the baskets on neighbors door steps, ringing the door bell and running away before they were seen. May Day was super fun because it involved crafting, caring and brightening someone’s day!
I did a FB Live video a couple weeks ago showing how to make this small May Day Basket, and the large May Day basket below.
Have you ever received a May Day Basket? I’d love to hear about it. Here’s the link to my YouTube video showing how to make the baskets. Please subscribe to my You Tube channel while you’re over there.
I’ve made many different May Day Baskets over the years. Here’s a few from the past.
Here’s a video showing how to make the Mini May Day Pouch.
Are you ready for the Annual Catalog starting May 4? There’s still time to order my product shares and get a little bit of everything. Here’s the info. You can pay with credit card, PayPal, Venmo or personal check.
If you have any questions, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com
Do you have loads of craft supplies? Me too! When you need a birthday gift for a friend or a hostess gift, don’t go shopping, get out your stamping supplies and make an easy set of notecards and a darling box to gift them in. My dear friend, Christy, had a full knee replacement earlier this week. Did I go buy flowers? Nope, I made this easy set of five “thank you” notecards so she would have them ready to thank all the people bringing her flowers or a meal. Hopefully the cute snails brightened her day as well!
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0083 is International Nurses Day which is on May 12.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. I enjoyed making these so much I made a second box and a variety of get well, birthday, and thank you notecards to give another dear friend for her birthday. If you have stamping supplies, you can experience joy creating, while being a blessing to someone else. Here’s a YouTube Video showing how to make the notecards and gift box. Please subscribe to my channel while you’re there. I do a new video every week.
The template above gives measurements to make the Notecard Gift Box. This is a Stamping Mom original so you won’t find these measurements anywhere else. 🙂

It’s so nice to have the opportunity to virtually meet other people who enjoy making cards. Beth encourages us to try new things and is very willing to answer questions and help us out. Beth’s Facebook presence keeps us informed and entertained through her Facebook Live sessions.
Please email me and let’s chat about the advantages of buying at a discount and being part of our Joy Team!
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0081 is Earth Day which is on April 22.
I grew up on 10 acres where we raised steers, rabbits and had a huge garden. I even showed 4-H steers at the fair. Anyway, this isn’t a traditional Earth Day card, but it doesn’t represent where I learned to take good care of the Earth.

This is a fun fold card that uses a 5mm magnet between the big chicks on the front of the card and another magnet hiding under the little chick inside the card.
If you would like to make this card, I don’t have written directions, but I do have a YouTube video of a FB Live showing exactly how to make this card. My dear friend, Jean, actually did her first ever video showing how to make this card. Please leave a comment and let Jean know what a great job she did. (Maybe she’ll come back and make another video someday soon!)
