My Stamping Mom’s Joy Team does a 3″ x 3″ Sampler Swap at least four times per year. In order for a dozen or more people to independently make a square and have them all coordinate into a beautiful Sampler, color is very important! For this Sampler we chose all the new In- Colors Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya and Evening Evergreen. We also added So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather, Basic Black and Basic White. I added a 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ layer to each square and adhered them to a 12″ x 12″ sheet of Basic White Cardstock. The frame is from Michael’s Craft store. May Day Baskets

Happy May Day on May 1st! Do you celebrate May Day? My kids and I would always make homemade baskets and fill them with popcorn and candy. The kids had a blast leaving the baskets on neighbors door steps, ringing the door bell and running away before they were seen. May Day was super fun because it involved crafting, caring and brightening someone’s day!

I did a FB Live video a couple weeks ago showing how to make this small May Day Basket, and the large May Day basket below.

Snailed It

Do you have loads of craft supplies? Me too! When you need a birthday gift for a friend or a hostess gift, don’t go shopping, get out your stamping supplies and make an easy set of notecards and a darling box to gift them in. My dear friend, Christy, had a full knee replacement earlier this week. Did I go buy flowers? Nope, I made this easy set of five “thank you” notecards so she would have them ready to thank all the people bringing her flowers or a meal. Hopefully the cute snails brightened her day as well!

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0083 is International Nurses Day which is on May 12.

Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. I enjoyed making these so much I made a second box and a variety of get well, birthday, and thank you notecards to give another dear friend for her birthday.
