The Brightly Gleaming Paper is a returning favorite from last year. It is gorgeous paper with Copper accents.
After I made the Brightly Gleaming Christmas Tree card above, I wanted to figure out a way to use the more expensive Copper Foil efficiently, so I designed the Ornament “companion card” using the “scraps.”
I cut the Copper Foil at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. I used the largest, 2nd largest and 5th largest Stitched Rectangles and cut them all out at once. The center piece and the outer thin frame are used on the ornament card. The smaller wider frame is used on the Christmas tree card. Two beautiful cards with almost no waste. My thrifty grandma would be so proud of me!
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) Sale lasts until October 31. Stock up before it’s gone!

Beth

Hi Cami,
Thanks for the sweet comment! The little ornate baubles were a Stampin’ Up embellishment from last year’s Holiday catalog. I’ve searched my craft studio hoping to find a couple to send you, but I must’ve used them all up last year. I took the picture last year and never posted it. Since the supplies are current again this year, I decided to post the picture and I love the idea of using the Foil paper without wasting it. Sorry to disappoint you about the baubles.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

Have a nice weekend!

Beautiful cards. I have the same question as Lynn Klitzke. It’s a lovely small ornament.
Lovely cards! What die did you use for the little ornate baubles?
I LOVE both of your Christmas cards. Both are beautiful and elegant but yet still very festive!
