Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for July. This month we are excited to show off the new 2015 – 2017 Stampin’ Up! In Colors, namely, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. The In Color products include card stock, designer series paper, ribbon and other embellishments. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Brian King at Stamp with Brian, number 7 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush are my favorite new In Colors.
I used the In Color DSP Stacks for the flower and the insert on the envelope.
The sentiment and flower stem came from Tin of Cards stamp set. A snippet of 1″ Dotted Lace Trim was stapled on for the leaves. Can you guess where I got the center of the flower?
I used White Emboss Powder and a stamp from Six-Sided Sampler. I punched it out with the 7/8″ scallop circle punch.
My Dad just got out of the hospital Sunday, after having open heart double bypass surgery and a heart valve replacement a week ago. Today he went back to the hospital after suffering a minor stroke. I made this card for my Dad tonight to help cheer him up. Making cards always cheers me up to!
Blessings,
Beth

Beth, I love this sweet flower and CAS design! Already pinned!
Love the idea of using ribbon for the leaves. Prayers of hope for your Father’s recovery. Just watched your video. Great job for your first time. Pinned the idea for the coaster board calendars for Christmas gifts.
Absolutely lovely! And your dad will love it! I will put keep him in my prayers tonight!

How clever to use the lace for the leaves. It really makes it pop even more. Nice work!
So cute! Love the use of the DSP for the flower and coordinating envelope!
