Beautiful Day
Do you ever have a stamp set you use over and over again? I’ve gotten my money’s worth from the Beautiful Day stamp set.
I’m a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) group leader and I had my group over for lunch last week. I placed a unique Butterfly notebook that they could use as a prayer journal, and matching pen on each of their plates..
Here’s the dining room set up and ready to go. It was our last day together as a group and I wanted it to be special. I made chicken salad, fruit, veggies, homemade coconut cream pie, and warm apple pie with ice cream. It was a wonderful day of sharing what we learned from our study of Romans and how we’ve applied it to our life.
Embossing Butteflies on cardstock vellum and then coloring the back side with Blends has become a favorite technique for me.
I made fifty of these Butterfly cards for swapping at OnStage.
I also used the Beautiful Day butterflies on these notebooks made with Brusho for a Stamp Camp.
I made these notebooks for a class I taught at a Women’s Retreat. All in all, I think I’ve heat embossed, colored and cut at least 100 Beautiful Day butterflies. The stamp set costs only $21 so I know I’ve gotten my money’s worth!
I’m getting ready to mail the new Stampin’ Up catalogs. If you would like me to be your Stampin’ Up demo, please let me know you would like to receive one.
I also got the Mermaid Fun fold card tutorial done from last week. Please let me know if you asked for directions and didn’t receive them.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

The notebooks are a great idea! I would love a tutorial on them….
I used the old butterfly framelits, pretty paper and ribbon to make Ghiradelli (squares) candy holders for a caregivers group at church…they were very well received. Your butterfly idea could also be used…
Would like a little info on the Bible Journaling – what size notebooks did you use? Are these refillable? Fellow demo asking.
What a treat for all
I have this set
Will do the same for some of my fellow stampers
Would love a tutorial
Thanks for sharing Beth
