Your Presents-Birthday

presents

Here is another make and take from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Convention.  The card shows how the stamp set, “Your Presents” is so versatile.  It looks like a totally different set using it as a birthday card.  Another thing I really liked about making this card was doing the Kissing Technique to make the plaid present.  I’ll make a video to show you this fun and easy technique.

I’m also happy that Stampin’ Up brought back Silver and Gold Cording Trim in the new 2015 Holiday catalog.  Customers can  order from this catalog beginning September 1!

joy-1

This is one of the make and takes from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Convention held last week in Salt Lake City.

The Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and new 1/8″ Striped Ribbon in Garden Green add a nice pop to this card.  I always love a coordinated envelope.

Are you ready to start on your Christmas cards?

Sprinkles of Life with Cupcake stand

This is the same basic layout as yesterday, but I wanted to use a cupcake instead of the ice cream cone.  I thought the cupcake needed a stand so I used the Build a Birthday set.  I put on the sentiment, “You are the Sprinkles on the Cupcake of Life”  Can you guess who I made this card for?  My sweet daughter, Abby. She is away at camp this week and I wanted to send her a card to remind her how much I love her.sprinklesoflife-3

I decided the cake stand was a little long, so I made another card with a “cupcake size” stand.  I did this by putting Post It notes on the two sides before I stamped the cake stand.  I thought it was pretty cute.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Have a great day!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
