Double and Single Berry Baskets and Hershey’s carrot cake Kisses

Living-With-Style-Blog-Hop-for-Blog

Welcome to our Blog Hop! We are eagerly awaiting spring and today we have some great ideas, inspiration, tips, resources and how-to for you this Spring as you move along through the blog hop.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Kristy Stewart at Under My Gabled Roof on our Living with Style Blog Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you make sure to see and learn from all of the articles featured here today.

When I think of Spring, I think of baskets for Easter and May Day.  Here are a couple of my favorite baskets both made with the Stampin’ Up! Berry Basket die.  The first basket is the original size of the Berry Basket.

The Double Berry Basket has twice the room for more goodies.

If you don’t have time to make baskets, here’s the easiest treat ever!

In the Occasions catalog, Stampin’ Up! shows the cellophane bags filled with orange M&M’s. See below.

As you can see above, the Kisses don’t fit all the way down to the point, so I taped the extra to the back of the carrot.  I bet you’re wondering where I found orange Kisses?  Walmart has carrot cake flavored orange Kisses right now.  They are yummy!  They taste a lot like Hershey’s Hugs.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like the directions for the Double Berry Basket.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

I’ve been a scrapbooker and stamper for about 25 years and unfortunately I have used, sold or gotten rid of only a small amount of my stash.  I started on a small table, moved to the dining room and then kicked Superman out of his office.  Actually, part of what makes Superman super, is he volunteered to trade spaces with me, so I didn’t technically kick him out.

I found a great new challenge  called “Use Your Stuff” Challenge Blog.”  That is what I intend to do this year!  On Facebook I’m participating in #imbringingbirthdaysback.  Go to my Facebook and sign up with your birthday and address and you’ll get a hand stamped birthday card from me near the time of your birthday.  If you don’t want your address posted on Facebook, private message me.

My wonderful college friend, Sharon, is coming over to help me get started posting my underutilized stamp sets and Designer Series Paper on ebay.  Look for Stamping Mom while shopping on ebay in the near future!

I’m also going to bring back my classes that I had done for years.  Let me know if you live in the Des Moines area and would like to attend my classes.  I might start online classes too, if there’s enough interest.

The final thing I’m doing is participating in lots of challenges, making tons of cards and 3D gifts, posting on my blog to inspire you to use your stuff and “Use My Stuff!”

The current challenge at Use My Stuff was to create a black and white card.

I also made a coordinating envelope.

I hope I’ve inspired you to get in there and “Use Your Stuff.”  Please subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss my updates or specials.

Keegan loved 12 Angry Men last night at the Des Moines Playhouse and thought it might be the best play I’ve ever taken him to see.  The angriest of the 12 Angry Men was so angry we had a hard time not thinking both his character and he as a person, was very bad.  Keegan was telling me you have to be a really good actor to make the audience have a hard time separating you from the character you’re playing.  So good job angriest man, you were outstanding!

Abby got her highest score of the season at her archery tournament this afternoon.  It was great to end the season on a high note.

It is so beautiful and warm today, Superman and I got all the sticks and yes, all the dog poop, picked up out of the yard.  We are ready for Spring!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
