I’m so grateful I can keep myself busy and enjoy creating cards which brings me joy, and sending cards to others to bring them joy as well. I hope to spend this time doing what God’s calling me to do and blessing others. I also want to be intentional and accomplish all those organizational and other tasks I’ve been putting off. I’m going to try and choose joy instead of fear and trust our sovereign God. Please join me in praying for the health and safety of all and discernment for government officials to make wise decisions during this world wide pandemic.

Our family was supposed to be on Spring Break, skiing in Colorado next week. We aren’t able to go because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are disappointed , but this is nothing compared to the heart break of those families who have suffered the loss of loved ones, millions of lives have encountered major disruption, and so many questions remain unanswered.
As our Bible Study Fellowship Leader reminded us, “We are called to not be anxious. While we take the proper precautions, we rest in the hope and peace of a sovereign God. We trust Him in all things as we navigate our lives and our families through these challenging times. The Lord is our ultimate source of comfort and guidance. We thank Him for the opportunity that He gives us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in loving our neighbors well and showing compassion.”

I joined Stampin’ Up in 2003 and participated in my first Pal’s Blog Hop in September 2014 and have been in the Hop every month since, except for one. It’s ironic that I made a 3-D project with candy included for that first hop and it’s still one of my favorite things to make. The two pictures below are from my first Pal’s Blog Hop. I hope my photography has improved in the six years 🙂
