The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) is stunning and makes a beautiful card. I love making simple fun folds that keep my customers interested in stamping, but not so hard it becomes frustrating.

Everyday I get a little closer to earning the Stampin’ Up! incentive cruise. I’ve sold four times more catalog shares than ever before and have turned my dining room into a product share factory and mailing station. All of the shares I’ve sold so far will go out by Thursday. If you want in on my great deal, see all the details here.

My August customer cards will be a version of the fun fold. If you want directions, Steve and I will be doing a FB Live on August 17 at 7pm Central time. We’ve been doing noon on Wednesdays for over a year, but this will be our first prime time broadcast. I’d love it if you’d stop by and say “hi.” We plan to go live on FB and on YouTube.

Here’s a couple of the cards I made last year with this fun fold and a pop up dove inside. Any kind of “scene” is great for this type of fun fold.

Enjoy everyone’s beautiful projects in the hop below.

Thanksgiving Invitation

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Happiest Season”. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

It’s so hard to pick a favorite season because I’m a fan of all the seasons in Iowa, except the cold and icy one which shall remain nameless. I love hosting my extended family for Thanksgiving and always send them a special invitation, so Fall/Thanksgiving is certainly one of my favorite seasons.

Here is this year’s invitation. I went for a classic, formal invitation using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle and the Seasonal Swirls dies. The pumpkin is heat embossed in copper with a copper foil circle behind it. The sentiment is also heat embossed in copper. A Tasteful Labels die was used to trim the sentiment. I really like the texture of the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder.

After I was done making this year’s invitation, I went back to see what I sent last year. I think by November of 2020 I was done with anything dark or sad because of COVID, so I made the invitation in bright & happy Stamping Mom colors. I also thought it was ironic that both cards said, “Gather Together.” I guess that’s one of the reasons Thanksgiving is one of my favorite seasons is because I love my family and love gathering them together!

I went back one more year to find the 2019 invitation and it says, “give Thanks.” I love making homemade pies especially apple, pecan and coconut cream, so I wasn’t too surprised I had a “turkey with a pie” invitation.

Thanksgiving Treats and Invitations. Search my blog at https://StampingMom.com for ideas dating back to 2014. #stampingmom #cute&simple4u

I also make treats for everyone who comes to Thanksgiving at our home. Here’s a collection of past Thanksgiving treats and invitations. I want my guests to feel special and I hope by sending them a handmade invitation and sending them home with handmade treats they feel extra loved and appreciated!

I would love to hear stories about some of your family traditions. Please leave a comment and share them with me.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 8th. Our theme will be “Focus on the Sentiment” when our Design Team creates a project showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Whimsy & Wonder Thank You

Stampin Up Whimsy & Wonder thank you card designed by demo Beth McCullough. Shop 24/7 and see more card and 3-D gift ideas at https://stampingmom.com/whimsy-wonder-thank-you #stampingmom #cute&simple4u

Many people want to send thank you cards after Christmas and I have a special one for you today!

I’m participating in Kylie’s monthly International Blog Highlights contest and the top 10 vote winners get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

How to do Voting?
Once you click on the button below or click here and you can see the photos. Please look for my card (#6) and click on the little heart sign on the right-hand top side of my photo. Once you’ve touched the little clear heart it will turn to Red Color and that is the notification that you voted. You can vote for up to five, but it’s not required, you can also just vote for one. Thanks so much, I truly appreciate it!

You can see all the supplies I used and order from my online store at the bottom of this post. The trees are cut from the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper (DSP) using the Christmas Trees dies. The garland, ornaments and small stars are also cut from the Christmas Trees dies (part of the Whimsical Tree Bundle.) The larger Polished Pink stitched stars are cut from the Give it a Whirl dies. The background is the Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum, super pretty in real life and not nearly as dark as it looks in the picture. I love making frames for cards using the first and third largest Stitched Rectangles. I have made many Whimsy & Wonder projects already and I truly love this Suite!

Do you like cucumbers? Me neither. Well…at least not until I started growing them in my garden. One of my favorite things to do each morning is to go out to my gardens and see what I can pick that day. Today I picked raspberries, cucumbers, lettuce and cherry tomatoes. I use a Norwex Fruit and Veggie cloth to wash the cucumbers and get the little prickly parts off. Then I use a Pampered Chef Crinkle Cutter to cut the cucumber that I’m going to eat that day. I store it in water in the refrigerator. The crinkle cutter gives it a nice texture and let me tell you, I love my home grown cucumbers and I bet you would too!

I planted only two cucumber plants earlier this summer and have harvested dozens of cucumbers. Every yellow flower on the plant turns into a cucumber.

Here’s the health benefits of eating cucumbers. I’m motivated to live healthfully for the rest of my life and eating cucumbers is one little step in the right direction.

Now, is there anyone who can convince me to start eating seafood?

Blessings,

Beth
