Beautiful Day Butterfly Notebooks

Beautiful Day

Do you ever have a stamp set you use over and over again?  I’ve gotten my money’s worth from the Beautiful Day stamp set.

I’m a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) group leader and I had my group over for lunch last week. I placed a unique Butterfly notebook that they could use as a prayer journal, and matching pen on each of their plates..

Here’s the dining room set up and ready to go.  It was our last day together as a group and I wanted it to be special.  I made chicken salad, fruit, veggies, homemade coconut cream pie, and warm apple pie with ice cream.  It was a wonderful day of sharing what we learned from our study of Romans and how we’ve applied it to our life.

Embossing Butteflies on cardstock vellum and then coloring the back side with Blends has become a favorite technique for me.

I made fifty of these Butterfly cards for swapping at OnStage.

I also used the Beautiful Day butterflies on these notebooks made with Brusho for a Stamp Camp.

I  made these notebooks for a class I taught at a Women’s Retreat.  All in all, I think I’ve heat embossed, colored and cut at least 100 Beautiful Day butterflies.  The stamp set costs only $21 so I know I’ve gotten my money’s worth!

I’m getting ready to mail the new Stampin’ Up catalogs.  If you would like me to be your Stampin’ Up demo, please let me know you would like to receive one.

I also got the Mermaid Fun fold card tutorial done from last week.  Please let me know if you asked for directions and didn’t receive them.

Marcelyn’s Statement of My Heart Frame

Marcelyn Churchill is my friend, stamping team member, fellow BSFer (Bible Study Fellowship) and prolific crafter.  She doesn’t have a blog, so I share some of her creations on most Mondays.

I had a birthday recently and Marcelyn wanted to get me something.  Well, I told her I didn’t want her to buy me anything, but I would love it if she would make me something.  We picked out the paper together from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP.)  My doorbell rang the other day and there was Marcelyn with my Statement of the Heart gorgeous frame.  It is even more beautiful than I imagined it.  The Statement of the Heart is Stampin’ Up’s mission statement.  It tells why we do what we do as Stampin’ Up demos. I love it, Marcelyn. Thanks so much!

Marcelyn is having shoulder surgery on May 23.  Please let me know if you would like her address to send her a card.

It makes Marcelyn’s day to hear from you.  Please email her at  marcelynchurchill@msn.com  Please stop by next week to see more of her creations.  Yep, she made some other frames and cards, so I’d still have things to post while she is recovering from her surgery.

The Share What You Love Suite is available to all customers this month.  Please click on the product pictures below to order from my online store.

The beautiful card above was made by Stampin’ Up Artisian, Connie Collins.  I need to case it to make a card for Marcelyn, because I’m lucky to have a friend like you, Marcelyn!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Mermaid Birthday Card

Welcome to our Pals Blog Hop, May 2018. This month we’ll be “Stepping Up with Textures or Techniques.” What’s that? Projects that are “stepped up” by using textures or fun techniques. Who knows, maybe both! Join us in the fun while we inspire you to “step up” your creations.

You may be starting the hop here or you may be coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

The Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) is beautifully textured paper that will be retiring May 31.

The Magical Day Bundle will also be retiring.

The mermaids are so cute, I had to put another one inside the card.

My card was cased from this fun fold card that Tina Rappe sent me.  Thanks Tina, I love it!

Let me know if you want directions to make my card.

Now it’s time to see how the rest of the Pals are Stepping up with Textures or Techniques. Please use the Blog Hop Line-Up below to move from blog to blog. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.

Mark your calendars for June 13, 2018 where we feature projects for Babies, Birthdays and Brides. You’ll probably even see products from Stampin’ Up!s new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Don’t miss it!
