Here’s a new and improved version of yesterday’s card. What do you think? Do you like it better with the black letters in the balloons?
Here’s my original card and the post from yesterday.
Tonight we are hosting my college son, Ryan, and his friends for New Year’s Eve. Hopefully they have a great time! I thought about asking to take a group picture to put on my blog, but luckily I thought it through and didn’t take the picture. I took a picture of our Christmas tree instead. 🙂
The decorations were purchased for half price at Target December 26,2014. The colors are turquoise, red, lime green, bright pink and purple. Kind of different colors for Christmas but they are very happy colors to me!
I have quite of few early January birthdays that always sneak up on me, so it’s time to pull out my new Stampin’ Up! Balloon Bouquet Punch and start creating birthday cards. I used the Little Letters Thinlits Dies to create “HAPPY” on the balloons. Can you see I used the Paper-Piercing Tool to create strings on the balloons? This card is 8 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and fits in a business size envelope so no extra postage is needed.
I used the Designer Series Paper Stack- Brights to create the balloons and to turn the business envelope into a cute birthday envelope.
The balloon punch will be available to customers starting Jan. 5 when the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalog begins. Please click on the products below to order and use Host Code EQH2KCVF to receive additional goodies from me.
My nephew Dalton turned 18 recently so I wanted to make him a “funky” birthday card. This is supposed to be a birthday present with a black bow on it. I’ve used the Bow Builder Punch a lot lately to make bows for my fudge boxes. Please see a couple of the posts here and here.
In Iowa we got at least six inches of snow today, so my youngest son, Keegan, has been busy blowing and shoveling snow. He gets money from some of the neighbors and does the widow’s snow for free.
Our oldest son, Sean, heads back to Seattle early tomorrow morning. I hope his flight isn’t cancelled so he can get back to work, but we are also sad to see him go. At our house it’s always a party when Sean is home!
