Dandelion Wishes

Festive Friday Challenge

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0029 is Spring  (Mar 20) and/or Green.   #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card or 3-D item and join us.  If you need help figuring out how to enter, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you.

During January and February we had record setting snow and cold! I thought I could make it through the winter without getting away to the sunshine and warmth of the south. When Steve mentioned a work trip to sunny California in a couple weeks, it took me about two seconds to decide I needed to tag along. It snowed all day today as I started prepacking for my trip. 🙂

Our challenge with Festive Friday this week is Spring and nothing says Spring like the colors Bermuda Bay (my favorite color) and Mango Melody! This was one of the favorite cards made at our recent Stampapalooza Stamping event. Everyone who attended our event had a great time. I hope you can join us next time!

Fruit Stand Birthday Card

Stampin Up Birthday card designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

I had many birthday cards I needed to make this week.  I whipped this one up with the retiring Fruit Stand DSP.  This paper is on sale for only $8.80 while supplies last.  I think the paper is beautiful and makes a quick and easy card.  Cards don’t need to be time consuming to be beautiful!  I like to attach the paper to the flap of the envelope to really dress it up.

  • The “Happy Birthday” is from the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous set available June 1.
  •  The Stitched Shapes Framelits is a must have for every stamper.

Please order from my online store  and use the Host Code KCQSVZKT to get your free card kit by mail.  You can also email me at Beth@StampingMom.com 🙂

I’ve started a new cycle program called, “Pedal Off the Pounds.”  When I signed up, I didn’t realize we were supposed to bike everyday.  I already go with Superman to Farrel’s six mornings a week for kick boxing and resistance band training.

Don’t laugh at our 80’s headbands, we sweat so much that it gets in our eyes if we don’t wear them.  I also walk with three of my favorite people, each one day a week.  My point is with this much exercise, I hope the pounds start falling off soon.

I had a birthday last week and received many beautiful handmade birthday cards.  I’ll show them to you soon.  Thanks to everyone who sent me a card.  I cherish every card I receive.

Keegan was also in a play over the weekend.  The program said he was a farmer, but he looks like a cowboy to me.  What do you think?

I have so much more I want to tell you, but I’ll save it for another blog post soon.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
