Spirited Snowman

I’m hosting this week’s challenge over at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog. Do you have Enamel Dots in your stash?  If so, it’s time to make a card, 3-D item or scrapbook page and add a few Enamel Dots to your design.  Then head over to Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog and add your picture.  Never entered a challenge? Never fear, I’ll help you get it done. Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com. I get it, I made cards for about 12 years before I ever entered a challenge.  It’s pretty fun, and so exciting though when you win a challenge.  Ask Ruth Sollberger and Marcelyn Churchill, I encouraged them to enter a challenge and they’ve both won some. 🙂

Here’s the inside of the Fun Fold card.

Are you wondering why I’m making Snowman cards in October? Well, it’s Oct 14 and it snowed in Iowa today! I took this picture while it was snowing, but you can’t see the snow.  You can see four of my raised gardens.  They are still going strong and not ready for winter.  Before it freezes we usually put tarps over the gardens and the hoops hold them up.The small square garden in front is my herb garden.   Another reason I try to prolong the growing season is, I like to use my own fresh Rosemary and Sage when I host Thanksgiving.  It’s over a month away so they might not make it this year. 🙂

I had such a wonderful week!  Our dear friends, Debbie and John Gorman, were here visiting from Alabama.  It had been two years since we’d seen them.  Debbie and I spent one day by ourselves, having all the fun we could think of! Love you both and see you soon!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

I like this fold and the image too. Do you happen to have the dimensions for the fold?
I am a former Iowan and do not envy you with the snow coming this early! My son lives in CO now and he had snow today too. Fortunately I live in GA and with luck will not see snow this winter! Suits me just fine.
Thanks

Cut and fry out those herbs for your Thanksgiving use! look it up online about using your microwave to do it, or just use the oven…it’ll help warm the house!
