It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s challenge #FF0091 is International Literacy Day which is September 8th.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. You entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with International Literacy Day. I actually LOVE to read and raised a family of readers! Unfortunately, I don’t have any book type stamp sets right now, so my card is not about Literacy Day. What is your favorite book? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

Time of Giving Bundle

The Time of Giving Bundle paired with the Tailor Made Tags dies made this card fun and easy to make. The Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder is also a favorite of mine. The colors I chose were Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Mossy Meadow. The green leaves were cut from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) using the die leaves in the Time of Giving Bundle. I used a Water Painter and ink refills to make blotchy colors mimicking the colors of the Beauty of the Earth Paper, for all the leaves that have more than just green in them. I also added Early Espresso ink to the Linen thread before I tied the thread on the tags. To finish it off, I sprinkled some Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins on the card.

The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) is stunning and makes a beautiful card. I love making simple fun folds that keep my customers interested in stamping, but not so hard it becomes frustrating.

Everyday I get a little closer to earning the Stampin’ Up! incentive cruise. I’ve sold four times more catalog shares than ever before and have turned my dining room into a product share factory and mailing station. All of the shares I’ve sold so far will go out by Thursday.
