National Cookie Day

I love the “Nothing’s Better Than” stamp set! Nothing’s Better Than Cookies, Coffee, Cocktails or Chocolate. Which would you pick? I think I would pick Chocolate first, but I also really like Cookies and Coffee. Steve can’t live without coffee, especially first thing in the morning, so it would be first on his list!

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  This week’s challenge #FF0097 is National Cookie Day which is on December 4th. Who doesn’t like National Cookie Day? My son, Sean, would rather have cookies at his wedding instead of wedding cake. 🙂

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you! From the Inspo List I used cookie, brown and circles.  Your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with National Cookie Day.

What’s better than a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box full of cookies?! What kind of cookie is your favorite? Please let me know in the comments. I really like Oatmeal Chocolate Chip with nuts. Almost everything I used was from the “Nothing’s Better Than” Bundle. I put Wink of Stella on the cookies to make them sparkly in real life. The DSP is the In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Assortment. Rhinestone Basic Jewels adds a little more sparkle. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com if you have any questions.

Home for the Holidays Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Home for the Holidays”. We really hope that you enjoy and are inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I made this easy fun fold into a fancy Christmas card by adding gold heat embossing and blends. The bow is from the Gift Giving dies, but you will also find little bows in the Baby Clothes dies #155471 and the Stockings dies #156288.

Inside the card is Basic White CS 4-5-1/4″ with Whimsical Trees heat embossed in gold. The Mossy Meadow CS started at 5-1/2″ x 11″ scored at 3-1/4″ and 7-1/2″ before the 1-1/4″ angles were cut.

I also heat embossed another gold tree on the envelope because we don’t want naked envelopes. I hope you have a wonderful holiday planned with your family and friends!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 8th. Our theme will be “My Favorite Things” with our design team showcasing some of their favorite products from any catalog they choose.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

The sparkly Ombre paper is so pretty in real life combined with the bright and happy colors! This card would certainly brighten someone’s day!

I’m participating in Kylie’s monthly International Blog Highlights contest and the top 10 vote winners get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

How to do Voting?
Once you click on the button below or click here and you can see the photos. Please look for my card (#24 ) and click on the little heart sign on the right-hand top side of my photo. Once you’ve touched the little clear heart it will turn to Red Color and that is the notification that you voted. You can vote for up to five, but it’s not required, you can also just vote for one. Thanks so much, I truly appreciate it!

You can see all the supplies I used at the bottom of this post and click on any of them to order from my online store. The “Thanks” came from Thanksgiving in the Word Wishes dies. I really like having the words for so many holidays.

Please join Steve and I tomorrow night at 7pm Central for our Live video on both YouTube and Facebook. Please like or subscribe to our channel while you are there. Our live videos are every Tuesday at 7pm.

It’s been a beautiful Fall in Iowa. There aren’t any pink, navy or coastal cabana leaves, but they sure are pretty! Steve’s only outside job he dreads, is to rake up all the leaves. He’s spent two long days raking and most of our leaves are down. He hopes to be done for the year, but there are other trees in the neighborhood yet to lose their leaves.
