I broke out the Silver Glimmer Paper and a retired set to make this graduation card for a good friend.

Here’s Grandpa Harold’s Gift Card Holder 80th Birthday card.  After it was done, I wished I had put sequins in the numbers.

When I made my niece, Lindsay’s, graduation card, I remembered the sequins, so this is a shaker card.

These are Christmas Count Down Numbers.

Keegan had his Fall vocal concert the other night.  He was telling us we didn’t need to go, but then five minutes before the concert started he was texting us, telling us we were going to be late.  Steve assured him we were in our seats already.  I’m glad he really does care, and I wouldn’t miss any chance to hear Keegan sing. Anyway, can you see my tall Keegan in the center of the back row?

I was looking through our pictures from this summer and this picture made me smile.  I love watching Steve participate in his triathlons except the swimming portion.  During the swimming they all look alike and I have no idea where he is. At this triathlon he was getting ready to swim and I noticed he was the only man that was given a pink swim cap. (Yep, he was given a women’s cap by mistake.)  At least I could pick him out of the crowd and watch him do the entire swim race.  I now have a plan for next year’s triathlons. 🙂

Abby’s Graduation cards

Abby was blessed with many beautiful handmade graduation cards.  Abby and I appreciated each and every one.  I’m excited to share all of them with you today.

Stampin Up Graduation card made by Ruth Sollberger. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

Inside the card Ruth put the verse Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”  It’s so encouraging to know God has a plan and purpose for each one of us.

Stampin Up Graduation card made by Cindy Lindquist. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

Inside the card Cindy put the verse Philippians 4:8 “Whatever it TRUE. Whatever is HONEST. Whatever is PURE. Whatever is LOVELY. Think on these things.”  Such a good reminder that we do get to choose what we think about all day. I’m going to choose to have only true, honest, pure and lovely thoughts today.

First Graduation Card of the 2017 Season

What a fun day I had today!  I got to watch musical theater performances at the high school this morning.  My kids weren’t in it this time, but my friend’s daughter and other kids I know were fun to watch.  Truth be told, Broadway musicals are a passion of mine and I could happily sit and watch them for hours! I had a sweet lunch with one of my dearest friends and then a crafting session this afternoon. I used to do “Ladies Night Out” card parties all the time.  I would have up to ten gals at a time at my house and I’d have everything cut and ready to make the cards.  The problem was I would spend hours trying to “guess” what they may like to make.  It was very stressful and time consuming.  Lately, I have friends come over one or two at a time.  I do no prep work except make sure my Stamping Studio looks presentable.  I ask them what they want to make and we look at examples on the computer and other things I’ve already made in my studio and then we create something together.  Today we made Valentine candy boxes and a college graduation card.  Very fun, no stress, and everyone goes home happy because they made exactly what they wanted!  Which of my friends wants to stamp with me next?  Give me a call!

We decided to make this card a 6″ x 6″ card to have plenty of room for the “2017.”  We used the retired Stampin’ Up set Go, Graduate and some retired DSP to match Jenn’s school colors.

We also made a coordinating envelope to fit the larger card.  Now I need to make another special graduation card for Miss Abby who is graduating from high school in May!

I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend and getting some time to stamp or whatever you enjoy!
