For the first time ever, I used two challenges to inspire my card. Pals Paper Arts provided the color challenge and Freshly Made Sketches gave me the sketch challenge. I’ve never used these three colors together, but I must say I like it!
A Whole Lot of Lovely is a Hostess set from the 2015-16 annual Stampin’ Up! catalog. I can see many uses for this “Thank You” stamp. I used clear embossing powder on the sentiment and punched out flowers and used Candy Dots on some of the flowers. I’ve included links to the supplies I used below. Believe it or not, today Steve and I took down the Christmas tree and put all the other Christmas decorations away. I loved my tree this year decorated in bright and happy colors. Every time I came in the house or walked downstairs, seeing the tree would make me smile. I was telling a good friend about this and she told me seeing her tree up made her think of “work” as in work that needed to be done. Since it is more than a month after Christmas and we heard the kids trying to explain to their friends why we still had a tree up, we decided it was time. Steve did mention if we just left it up, we wouldn’t have to put it up again next year. I decided the tree would get very dusty and I’ll try to survive the rest of this cold Iowa winter without my smile inducing tree!

A lovely thank you note. The brick embossing for the background makes the thank you look like it is hanging on a brick wall. The Watermelon Wonder frame is the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for playing with the Pals.
